Farewell Year of the Dying Starr..??

Posted under Aya Matsuura, Hello Project, Morning Musume by Aece McCloud

Aya Matsuura started her career releasing her first single in 11th April, 2001. Thats when her music career started and she at that time had a very successful year releasing 4 singles. Later in every successive years she had a blast with successful singles. Any good fan of Aya Matsuura can easily observe her giving 100 percent effort required by any song. In not just the recording studio, or the music video but in live concert performances as well. She is the most energetic performer of HelloProject and had always kept the Project alive in good and bad times. She is one of the most wonderful women of the world who has inspired fans in many ways. Any concert by Aya Matsuura is enlightening, very energetic and helps any fan in having the best time forgetting all worries in life.

She has the drive of huge motivation that always influences the fans and people accept the energy and reflect it back with great excitement. This level of energy had never been shown by any other artist in the history of Japan and will continue to exist with only Aya Matsuura. However, she hasn’t been able to release any good singles this year and according to the UFA and any other news sources there won’t be any further releases for her, at least not for the rest of the year. That will make only one single Egao who hasn’t been able to do very well in sales in comparison with other artists. There is a sudden decline in things happening around HelloProject which are not easily noticeable, but they are there such as mishaps with some Morning Musume members, bad decisions with some new members and finally Aya Matsuura who seems to be losing her touch in concerts and her new songs. In all they are giving HelloProject and Morning Musume a very difficult time.

Facts:

1. Aya Matsuura released about 3 singles every year on average starting in year 2001 till 2005.

2. She lowered number of releases to just one every year starting in year 2006.

3. She again released just one single who failed to make major impact in year 2007.

4. Her popularity will continue to decrease at an alarming rate with her current strategy next year.

5. After suspension of Fujimoto Miki, the Duo group with Aya Matsuura will fail to make another impact in the second concert. And it will be officially termed as a failure for both artists in 2008 unless they come up with highly successful singles that were already needed in year 2007.

6. UFA will continue to squeeze any further money out of the very dedicated fans as the artists have lost the ability to make new born fans, with their attitude and singles.

7. Both of the artists will continue to fail in deciding for their own future without knowing exactly how the music industry works.

8. They have to stop being too immature all the time. Now that is killing them more.

9. Fujimoto Miki is a very disturbed girl and it will be hard for her to recover in a deciding state. Until then she will be played badly by UFA for as long as she remains suspended from Morning Musume.

10. With or without Ai-chan MorningMusume had an extremely bad year in 2007 and it will be almost impossible for the group to recover from it.

Finally ‘The group wouldn’t have been in this bad situation if only Ogawa Makoto wasn’t graduated and allowed to stay and even Lead before graduation.‘ That was the worst mistake made by UFA and Tsunku by graduating both Konno and Makoto.

Right now I have more concerns of Aya Matsuura than any other person in HelloProject. She is the most important person who should stay depending on how long she can continue to support the rest of the girls. None of the girls are able to deal with the circumstances as many of them are going through the maturity process and are not able to cope with the distressful emotions. I have a great deal of respect for Aya Matsuura and consider it very sad when she is being played badly by the UFA. She never had a chance of developing her own identity apart from HelloProject and it will give her tough time when she is older.

Music industry in Japan is very ‘Kibishi = severe’ and doesn’t care about anyone. Any artist who has having popularity-hype now will be forgotten later by the people and it CAN become distressful for the artist himself, especially someone from Japan as it is more considered a weakness to be sad over these issues. The more popular the aritst, the more sad he might become. Aya Matsuura should be careful from now as the end for her seems near which is is definitely not what her fans want. To stay happy she should be more closer to her dedicated fans and continue to have a wonderful time.
