Before the post a quick update: A new single “モーニング娘。誕生10年記念隊 ~Itoshiki Tomo e” has been released which is praised by many HP fans around the world.

Group History - Wiki:

At the beginning of the 2007 Morning Musume Tanjō 10 Nen Kinentai (モーニング娘. 誕生 10 年記念隊) was created. This is a temporary group that consists of five members that are or formed member of the group Morning Musume, and was created to celebrate Morning Musume groups complete ten years. They sent commemorative single call “Bokura ga Ikiru MY ASIA”.

Tsunku, the producer of Morning Musume, declared that the selected members symbolize the principle of the base of the group. In addition, each member was of an uneven generation.

The Good, The Bad and The Sexy!

HelloProject the best girls group in the world is a miracle of its own kind. It has been six months since HelloProject started to make buzz with members retirements. Before there were three hot girls including Aya Matsuura, Fujimoto Mikitty and Goto Maki who had always inspired fans with their offline/online performances. Then something happened (I am not gonna discuss it again & again & again..) and Fujimoto Miki left Morning Musume breaking the top-three trio to now only top-two. There is some serious problem with the very nature of the girls and for some unknown reason they do not learn from each other and occupy their own reservations, but just keep on growing with them.

HelloProject had always been filled and even overflowing with talent when it got started inluding Nakazawa Yuuko, Yaguchi Mari and Abe Natsumi with Nacchi most talented of them all. Nacchi starred in various movies, TV programs and doramas and established a reputation in giving good performances. However, Yaguchi Mari continued to improve her own personality and still impresses with genuine nature, honesty and self-disciplined humor.
There was a time when everything was at its best and all members were giving the performances of their life time and all of them having fun and maturing very fast. But now most of the good things in HelloProject are now gone and it is very very sad that we will never get that time back and may never be able to reproduce something like that in HelloProject again. It was a small miracle by Tsunku to pull off something like that but also it turned out to be temporary. Why?? Lets find out…
Matsuura Aya:

The good and the sweetest girl in the group who started her career in HelloProject in year 2000 and after a successful audition started her career with a full blast. That was the best time for her and I must congratulate (omedetou) whoever was behind it and actually saw the real potential of her and recognized it from the start. The producer and the whole team started working on singles for her and has never disappointed the audience.

However, again for some unknown reasons she was made a part of a group she shouldn’t have been (3-nin Matsuri), that also included Kago Ai and Rika Ishikawa.

Soon the team behind it realized keeping her in the group and same time producing good singles for her won’t do any justice. It was a mistake even when the trio group produced good singles because Aya Matsuura became very huge and its not something she would be proud of when looking back in her past. I consider her to be the most talented girl who has made it so big in a very short period. Its not over yet and she will continue to amaze her fans and the world that only circulates around her. Most likely there will never be another person as comparable as Aya Matsuura in the history of Japan. She believed in herself too much and it takes a passion with-in that derives a person towards success. This is yet to be seen by any other artist in the modern Japan.

Fujimoto Miki:

Fujimoto started her career almost the same time with Aya Matsuura. I strongly believe if it wasn’t the starting friendship with Ayaya she wouldn’t have been this successful. The maturity shown till now is mostly gained while being friends with Ayaya. The progression within Morning Musume had always been too fast for her and it was just the matter of time before she considers herself to be maturing way over from the whole group. However, it was a mistake that was made by her as she still had a long way to go. How bad can it be considered when she was promoted to be the leader of the group without building any solid reputation of leading the group and making a bad example for other members being a leader.

UFA should soon decide putting her back within the next 6-8 months which is very likely since she announced to resign and not UFA kicking her out. That means they retained rights in getting her back just so she can start leading the group one more time; that is also buying Tsunku and the team behind Morning Musume some time in producing good numbers. The group is there to stay and is now lacking talent and needs some more years before it matures back to the state of 2003-2005; if it is even possible, lets hope so.

Goto Maki:

I consider Goto Maki to be the most troubled girl in Morning Musume. She retired from the group while Aya Matsuura was progressing heavily and most likely Tsunku and the working team behind decided to graduate her as a solo artist and to make her as successful as Ayaya. However, this strategy backfired and she never managed to acquire a personality anywhere close to Aya Matsuura. That led her to start revealing a little bit with a sexy look to finally get some attention. It usually works but something unexpected to exist in HelloProject and doesn’t belong there. Goto Maki took a lot of time to start giving successful singles, and also it was a lot easier to see her personality is not truly a celeb personality and it will definitely take her ages to mature at that level.

It is somehow difficult to absorb the whole scenario. HelloProject could have been improved but a lot of people working inside didn’t know how to rectify some of the reservations of the members. They tried to make it as fun as possible for the members but it is not going to work for all members all the time. What they needed to do is to go through all the members one by one and take care of all unnecessary details. Japan is a country of many talented artists but due to its secured nature various (iro iro) personalities exists which make the whole process more fun but disocomforting for many people, which should also be taken care of to make it further successful.
